In AnQi CMS, we understand the value of website content and the needs of operators for content security and recoverability.Especially for single-page websites that carry important information, such as 'About Us' or 'Contact Us', etc., the delete operation often needs to be more cautious. When you select to delete a single page in the Anqi CMS backend management system, the system will not immediately remove it permanently from the database, but instead adopts a strategy called 'soft delete'.

The introduction of a soft delete mechanism aims to provide a layer of content protection for operators. This means that the deleted single page will first be moved to a special area-Recycle Bin

After you enter the recycle bin, you will see a list of all deleted single-page items, as well as other deleted documents. For these temporary pages stored in the recycle bin, the system provides you with two operation options. If you find that a single page has been deleted by mistake, or you want to re-enable it, you can select the page and perform the "restore" operation.Once the recovery is executed, the single page will immediately return to its original position, reappearing and becoming available on the website's front end.

However, the Recycle Bin is not permanent storage space. For data management and performance optimization, the recycle bin of Anqi CMS has a certain retention period.According to the system settings, the content in the recycling bin is set to be retained for only 7 days by default.Permanently delete. In addition, you can also select a single page in the recycle bin and actively perform the "permanent deletion" operation.Once content is permanently deleted, it cannot be retrieved or restored regardless of the method used. Therefore, when performing any delete operation, please make sure to confirm carefully to avoid loss of important content.
