Feature Introduction

Where is the boundary between batch replacement of old column keywords and station-wide replacement and article-by-article editing?

When batch modifying the keywords of old columns, it is suitable to replace them station-wide with clear scope, unambiguous matching strings, and no semantic judgment involved. The mechanical changes should be made for each article depending on the context. The boundary lies in whether the replacement may harm homophones, and whether it affects the semantics of the title and description. Before starting, run a preview of the replacement list, and confirm that the backup and recycle bin can handle any unintended changes.

Batch operation Replace site-wide

Feature Introduction

Old column keyword needs to be replaced in bulk, where is the boundary between full-site replacement and article-by-article editing? The boundary is determined by three things: whether the matching string is ambiguous, whether the change requires reading the context, and whether the error can be rolled back after correction. The matching string in the station corresponds only to this concept and does not involve semantic judgment, so use full-site replacement; the meaning of the same word may be different in different articles, and whether to change it depends on the sentence, so it goes back to article-by-article editing. The typical cost of a judgment error is to replace homonyms together, which requires another round of repair.

First judge the nature of this batch of changes

There are three common requests for batch keyword modification. The first is the replacement of brand or product names, which belongs to mechanical replacement; the second is the adjustment of column theme words, which often requires rewriting the title and abstract; the third is the cleaning of old active words, where it is necessary to judge whether the sentence still makes sense after modification. The first one is suitable for full-site replacement, while the second and third often need to be handled article by article, otherwise the keywords may change but the sentences become unreadable, and the semantics of the title and description may also be broken.

What is suitable for and what is not suitable for full-site replacement?

AnQiCMS's full-site replacement tool is used for batch replacement of keywords or links. It also comes with navigation settings, single-page management, email reminders, and watermark management, suitable for unified actions at the structural level. The unsuitable cases are also clear: when the matched string appears simultaneously in the text, tags, aliases, and links, and you do not want to act on all of them; the word form has different meanings in different contexts; or the replacement needs to adjust the collocation in the sentence. Such changes, if implemented all at once, will yield low returns and require a lot of rework.

Three precautions before taking action

The first step is to backup. The data backup must include static files, as the text and the generated static pages will change together once the replacement takes effect, and only leaving a database backup is not enough. The second step is to preview the list: first run the matching string on the test site or duplicate to see if the number of hits and their positions meet expectations. The third step is to confirm the rollback path: articles that have been deleted or corrected can be restored to the recycle bin, but bulk replacement is not a deletion action, and the recycle bin cannot recover the modified fields. What can truly prevent it is the backup before the replacement.

Actions to be taken after the replacement.

When batch replacing words, three types of tails will remain. The keywords in the title and description have changed, and the summary may not match the new words, so the title needs to be checked one by one; The old words in the keyword library are still there, and they need to be cleaned up together, otherwise the internal filtering and push will still follow the old words; If the old words are referenced in the content review and sensitive word filtering rules, the rules will lose their effect, and they also need to be updated synchronously. Only after these three steps are completed can the migration of a batch of keywords be considered closed.

When must we return to editing one by one

If any of the following situations occur, it is not suitable to process in bulk: the number of hits is obviously not in line with expectations, indicating that the matching strings have the same form; changes involve fields such as titles and abstracts that require rewriting sentences; the article itself is in a state of pending publication or draft, and changes may conflict with the schedule; or this is a long-tail traffic entry point, and the rewriting of sentences must ensure that the original meaning corresponds to the user's query.

Common questions

Question: Can I replace the text only and not the title?Answer: The control of the replacement range should be considered. Before performing batch actions, confirm whether the scope of action can be divided, and if it cannot be processed separately, narrow the scope of the batch to leave the title part for individual editing.

Ask: Will the inclusion drop after the change? The replacement of keywords themselves does not affect the existing inclusion, but if the URL or column address is changed at the same time, you need to use a 301 redirect to converge the old address to the new address, otherwise the weight of the historical links and visitors will be cut off.

Ask: How can I minimize losses if I make a wrong batch replacement?First, restore from the backup before the replacement, and then run in small batches. If there is no backup, you can only change each article according to the hit list, which is much more costly, which is also the reason why we need to backup before taking action.

After the article type is set in stone, if you want to add a field, you can only change the code, and the custom content model solves what?

The custom content model solves the problem of decoupling the content structure from business fields. When the article type is hardcoded, adding a parameter, scope, or attachment field requires changing the code and database structure; after changing to a configurable content model, fields can be defined in the background and can enter the editing page and list call, historical data is compatible with null values, and there is no need to go through a release cycle for a single structural change.

When integrating the content system backend with external AI clients, what should the intent directory and round-level approval manage first?

The intent directory manages the callable operation surface: interfaces converge according to the intent domain, and external clients cannot read unregistered capabilities; round-level approval manages the actual write operations that occur in a round, merging multiple changes into one confirmation to avoid误伤 caused by approving each change individually. The high-risk areas at the station level are closed by default and need to be explicitly opened. It is a safe practice to keep multi-site and backup operations closed in the initial stage of integration.

How can user grouping and permissions be isolated when the same program manages multiple sites?

When managing multiple sites with the same content system, the isolation of user groups and permissions should be divided into two layers: first, define the site boundary, what operations the account can perform in which site; then, define the group boundary, the corresponding readable and writable scope for editors, operators, and external authors. AnQiCMS uses multi-site management and user groups with VIP groups to implement these two layers, and make a data backup before changing permissions, recover deleted documents from the recycle bin.
